FIFA Referee Laryea to officiate at AFCON 2021 In Cameroon

Ghanaian FIFA referee Daniel Laryea has been named among the referees to officiate the 2021 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament to be staged in Cameroon.

This comes as a piece of welcoming news to the Ghanaian football community and Laryea himself after years of hard work and determination has paid off.

The delayed tournament will finally come off next month with as many as 32 countries expected to battle for glory.

Laryea 33, who has been one of the top referees in the Ghana Premier League boast of international tournaments among the 2022 world cup qualifiers.

He is the only referee from Ghana on the list after excelling in the past years handling matches on the continent.

Everyone is proud of the 33-year-old referee and we pray for him as he steps up to make the country proud in Cameroon.
